My work broadly addresses the politics of representation and knowledge production via the built environment. In my current research I examine how various stakeholders control and govern diffuse objects like dust and other aerosols.

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Communication and Science Studies at the University of California-San Diego, La Jolla, CA. I am also a part-time lecturer in the Architecture program at the University of San Diego

I co-lead the Xcolonial Design Group, a working group on postcolonial and decolonial design.
